According to the June 30, 2018 CAFR report, the County’s net position had increased by $88.2 million in the preceding year.

Mental Health Services Act Trust has around $60 million that is not being spent.

Mental health clinicians have a 29% vacancy rate. Thats 41 unfilled jobs. If the County refuses to staff these critical positions where can those who suffer get the help they deserve.

The county would rather lose $1.2 million in monthly fines for not having enough licensed employees to provide services based on County population.
